Born in Yuhuan County, Zhejiang Province, he is currently the Chairman of Zhejiang Jiulong Machinery Co., Ltd. He is a representative of the 15th People's Congress of Yuhuan County, a supervisor of the efficiency of Yuhuan County's government agencies, and has been awarded titles such as Outstanding Builder of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in Zhejiang Province and Outstanding Entrepreneur in Zhejiang Province.

Since 1996, Ye Yilong has served as the General Manager of Yuhuan Jiulong Machinery Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Jiulong Electric Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Jiulong Machinery Co., Ltd.
